Cigital, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in software risk management and data security, has formed a partnership creating Cigital India with a recognized top performer in offshore outsourcing. August 2006 - LeverPoint Launches LeverPoint Global to Drive Merger and Acquisitions Activity. LeverPoint Global, the newest member of LeverPoint Holdings corporate structure, is a sister company to both LeverPoint, LLC and LeverPoint Capital Partners, LLC. All three work in concert to provide a broad and deep global software engineering and testing solution to the marketplace. LeverPoint Global is charged with the mission of extending LeverPoint's global software service offerings by identifying and acquiring top-notch software services firms. These acquisitions, targeted at US-based as well as global software services firms, will increase LeverPoint's overall capacity while strengthening its depth of capability in key strategic geographies, industry verticals and technologies.
July 2006 - LeverPoint Capital Partners Strikes Gold on First Equity Investment by Selling to Thompson Financial's TradeWeb. LeverPoint Capital Partners (LCP) acquired a majority interest in Global Trade Technologies (GTT) and formed LeverTrade. Along with GTT's original founder & CEO, Peter Adams, LeverPoint took over 100% of the development efforts in an effort to quickly round out the product offering and support existing client installations. Upon initial rollout of the new product, Thompson Financial's TradeWeb division realized the power of the product and elected to buy LeverTrade rather than build the same product from scratch internally.
June 2006 - LeverPoint's Superior QA and Testing Labs Recognized and Selected by Premier, Local Quality and Security Firm. A well known software quality and security services serving the Fortune 500 marketplace, after extensive interviews and in-country evaluations of the competition, selected LeverPoint to provide the offshore component of their services offering. More on this partnership will follow in the coming months.
April 2006 - LeverPoint expands its Quality Assurance & Testing Practice. Through LeverPoint's partnership in India, it has expanded it Q/A and Testing initiative with its partner BrickRed. This expansion included the creation of new facilities and several new key staff members.
March 2006 - LeverPoint forms LeverPoint Capital Partners, LLC (LCP), a new division dedicated to bridge funding select LeverPoint clients. LCP provides "angel bridge" capital to a select few LeverPoint, LLC clients with the mission of creating significant value while reducing overall risk. This is achieved by leveraging LeverPoint's: 1) product management and development expertise and personnel to accelerate the company's ability to bring product to market, and 2) extensive reach into the VC and private equity community to assist the company more quickly identify and gain access to institutional capital.
January 2006 - Artifact Software, a pioneer software company delivering a comprehensive application designed to meet the needs of the exploding global, distributed software development industry, partners with LeverPoint in a series of 5 Invitation-only, CXO Roundtable discussions across the Mid-Atlantic, New York and New England.
December 2005 - Yet another Market-leader in network security software and hardware selects LeverPoint to accelerate time-to-market cycles.
September 2005 - LaborLogix, a pioneering provider of enterprise software applications for project and resource-intensive businesses, chooses LeverPoint for its offshore growth strategy.
August 2005 - LeverPoint acquires major interest in Global Trade Technologies and forms LeverTrade, a subsidiary of LeverPoint, LLC and provider of bond trading software to medium to large-sized bond trading firms in the US. LeverTrade joins forces with long-time veteran of the fixed income industry, Peter Adams, to head the new organization.

June 2005 - Vanward Technologies, a solutions company providing software and services to measurably increase software quality, partners with LeverPoint to provide new services and quality management dashboard capability to LeverPoint clients.
June 2005 - LeverPoint brings on new CTO, Colin deSa to lead the effort to drive greater quality and innovation into every client engagement.
