March 17, 2009 – LeverPoint CEO, Todd Bramblett, featured at Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Emerging Business and Technology Showcase Panel.  LeverPoint CEO, Todd Bramblett, has been selected to speak on the NVTC panel, Smart Growth: Doing More with Less, in March.  This showcase, in response to feedback and suggestions from members, will showcase some of the area's emerging technology businesses that offer innovative cost-saving solutions.

In these tough economic times, emerging businesses must cut costs to preserve cash but must do so carefully so as not to damage the overall viability. This event will feature a panel of experienced entrepreneurs that will discuss best practices around how to create a new lean organization and focus it on retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones. February 26, 2009 – LeverPoint Sponsors and CEO, Todd Bramblett, speaks at 6th Annual Bootcamp For Growing Companies and Entrepreneurs. The Bootcamp, sponsored by the Business Alliance of George Mason University, attracted more than 200 attendees.  The event focused on networking and learning best practices, market opportunities, and lessons learned from more than forty of the region’s most successful business leaders.  Todd was a panelist on the IT & New Media…Beyond Web 2.0 session.  This session talked on market opportunities and techniques using the next generation of media tools to grow your business.

February 2, 2009 – LeverPoint CEO, Todd Bramblett, on Board of Advisors for Amplifier Ventures newly launched Business Accelerator Program.  Amplifier Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund, and Amplifier Network, a provider of education and collaborative online content for entrepreneurs, today announced the Amplifier Business Accelerator Program to stimulate new technology company formation in the DC Technology Corridor. The three-month program will combine seed capital from Amplifier Ventures with experienced, hands-on mentoring and education by recognized experts, as well as social collaboration capabilities to support establishing durable businesses in today's challenging economic climate.

The day-to-day assistance to the participating entrepreneurs will be lead by managers Jonathan Aberman, Michael Dering and Rich Moore.  The managers will be assisted by the members of the Board of Advisors of the Amplifier Network, a group which includes Todd Bramblett, CEO of LeverPoint, LLC.  (Full Release)
